The Pioneer Engineer’s Squad tool kit is similar in purpose to the K1539, but focuses more on clearing of land and digging of trenches. This kit contains: axes, pick axes and machetes for clearing trees and underbrush. The shovels come in two different styles as well as the textile tape. All of the 32 items in this kit will fit into the 2 wooden chests provided. While this kit is initially outfitted for a 3-person team, it can also be customized to suit your needs. This kit is the same as GSA’s 5180-00-596-1546.
